Vertiv has announced an agreement to acquire King Environmental Services Ltd. (KES), a fluid-management company that prepares, cleans, filters and treats the fluids used in liquid-cooling systems, as reported by Environmental Protection. The deal extends Vertiv's cooling-infrastructure services across Europe, the Middle East and Africa.
KES, which is based in Ireland and operates from hubs in North Dublin and Frankfurt, also commissions and tests cooling infrastructure — including thermal load testing — and performs electrical load testing for critical power systems. In announcing the deal, Vertiv noted that fluid contamination, trapped air, corrosion and flow imbalances can reduce heat-transfer efficiency and create operational risks in liquid-cooled data centers.
The acquisition follows Vertiv's December 2025 purchase of PurgeRite, a North American fluid-management company. Vertiv said the combined services would help data center operators address regional requirements for fluid handling, treatment and disposal.
The transaction is expected to close in the fourth quarter of 2026. Financial terms of the acquisition were not disclosed.
