Vertiv has announced a major expansion of its manufacturing campus in Nove Mesto nad Vahom, Slovakia, adding capacity to build power, switchgear and thermal-management equipment for data centers, according to a company press release.
Over the next 18 to 24 months, Vertiv plans to add approximately 22,000 square meters of new manufacturing space at the campus. The added capacity is aimed at producing more power, switchgear and thermal-management technologies, including advanced liquid-cooling and power solutions designed for high-density AI and high-performance computing applications.
Vertiv said the investment follows recent expansion initiatives at its manufacturing facilities in Ireland, Italy, Croatia, Malaysia, Mexico and the United States. The company wants to turn the Slovak site into an integrated manufacturing and technology campus that combines engineering, operations and production, which it says should improve responsiveness to custom orders, speed up delivery and strengthen its EMEA supply chain.

Chris Hales, VP of operations EMEA at Vertiv, added: "We envision Nove Mesto nad Vahom as a world-class manufacturing campus where people, technology, and innovation come together."
The project is expected to create hundreds of new jobs between 2027 and 2029 across manufacturing, engineering, operations, supply chain, quality, technical and leadership functions.
