Global Switch's Paris data center has been selected to host one of the biggest Nvidia Blackwell GPU deployments in Europe, the company announced. The high-density infrastructure will run on Nvidia's latest Blackwell architecture and is aimed at AI, HPC and enterprise workloads.
Global Switch says the deployment will support a suite of next-generation AI architecture delivering a five-times inference performance improvement over past models. The Blackwell rollout will be majority liquid-cooled and hosted within Global Switch's Nvidia DGX-Ready data center in the city.
The Paris site is powered by 100% renewable energy and is an approved participant in the European Code of Conduct for Energy Efficiency in Data Centres, a voluntary initiative established by the European Commission's Joint Research Centre.
Global Switch describes Paris as one of Europe's key digital infrastructure hubs, with exceptional connectivity, but notes that power constraints have started to emerge there as demand rises. The company says it is positioning itself as a partner able to deliver scalable capacity at speed in that environment.

Separately, Global Switch says it has undertaken a heat-offtake agreement to power the district heating network in the city of Levallois-Perret, set for delivery in 2027, and soon to be replicated in the city of Clichy.
